Welcome back to another edition of MLB Fantasy Today! Although there are 14 games on Wednesday in the league, there is one game that is screaming our name for some fantastic fantasy numbers! And that is the Chicago Cubs hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks. Now Arizona is having a very good year, but most of their success is at home. Also, they have one of their worst pitchers going today and I think he is going to get lit up like a Christmas Tree by this loaded Cubs line up. So let's get it started with the pitcher position.

<b>J Lester P 8100</b>. Jon Lester is having another outstanding year in a Cubs jersey. He is 12-3 with an ERA of 3.14 with a WHIP of 1.26. He was once again an All-Star in the National League and is the most important piece of the rotation. Lester loves pitching at home during day games and this should set up nicely for him.

<b>A Rizzo C/1B 4000</b>. Anthony Rizzo has been on fire over his last 10 games for the Cubs. He is 16-34 from the plate and also has 8 walks. His batting average and on base percentage have shot up to season highs and he is looking like a dark horse MVP candidate. I love his chances to light up the score board on Wednesday.

<b>J Baez 2B 4100</b>. Javier Baez is averaging 12.76 fantasy points per game this year. He will have some good cuts against Robbie Ray. Baez is feeling good after his All-Star game performance and has hit safely in 5 of 6 games. If he can be patient and sit on Ray's hanging curve balls, then he will have a great day.

<b>A Russell SS 3100</b>. Addison Russell has been on a tear and has hit successfully in 7 of 8 games. He is 4 of 8 in his last 3 games and his fielding has been outstanding. There is great value at his price and he could be the steal of the day. And speaking of STEAL, Russell is going to smash his career high in single season steals this year.
