MLB Fantasy 10/5
<hr>
We are back with another playoff edition of MLB Fantasy Today! There are four games today and some wonderful match-ups and story lines to follow. The Yankees and Red Sox will start what may be an epic battle but I am more focused on the other series in the American League for fantasy purposes today. Let's get started with the pitcher position.
<hr>
<b>J Verlander P 11800</b>. Justin Verlander's career was heading into a bad direction just a couple of years ago. He was pitching for the Detroit Tigers and they had lost their division leading talent and were headed in the wrong direction. But Verlander was traded to the Houston Astros and that gave his career a new lease on life. He has been outstanding ever since and he will treasure every postseason opportunity. I love him at home today in front of the Houston fans and I think he will take care of the Cleveland Indians with little to no problems.

<b>F Freeman C/1B 4100</b>. Freddie Freeman only went 1 for 4 yesterday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. But I think he will bounce back today against Clayton Kershaw. As good as Kershaw has been in the regular season, he usually struggles in the postseason. Freeman needs to and will step up today and help the Braves pull to even in the National League series. He will cruise past his 11 point fantasy average.

<b>J Altuve 2B 3700</b>. Jose Altuve is having another fantastic season for the Astros. He is batting .316 and is a big stolen base threat every time he gets on base. I really like him in the #2 slot today in the Astros line up and he will play a big role in getting some early pressure on the Indians pitcher, Corey Kluber. Altuve is well rested and he should be on top of his game. Since a lot of players will be using the Yankees and Red Sox players, I don't for see a high ownership rate on Altuve today.
