The NBA is not all about playing basketball for every NBA player. Outside the court, many players conduct charity works to help others especially the kids who cannot afford tuition fees and schools that do not have enough funds. 
<br>
NBA all-star and former Wake Forest guard Chris Paul donates $2.5 million to support Wake Forest basketball. Chris Paul is an All-ACC star at Wake Forest. The money that Chris donated will be use to redesign the basketball clubhouses and expand their locker rooms. It will also be use for nutrition resources and treatment areas for their health.

Paul’s donation is the school’s largest by any Wake Forest alumni. The men’s locker room will be named after him as an honor for him.  In honor of his late grandfather, Chris Paul and his family established the CP3 Foundation in 2005 in partnership with Winston-Salem Foundation. The CP3 Foundation was built to highlight Paul’s dedication to the Winston-Salem, NC community that nurtured him to become a stand-out high school basketball player to a star in Wake Forest university.

Wake Forest basketball helped Paul to become who he was today. The team help him develop his game and nurtured him to become a star. Paul played two seasons at Wake Forest University. He led the team to the sweet 16 in his rookie season and was named ACC Rookie of the year.

 In his sophomore year, he led the team to it’s first Number 1 Ranking and led the team back to the NCAA Tournament. It was an amazing journey for Paul in Wake Forest and the team will surely not forget one of the best point guards now in the NBA. Paul is now playing for the Houston Rockets and helped James Harden all the way to the Western Conference Finals last season. They almost defeated the Golden State Warriors. If Paul didn’t get injured, they might end up being the champions last season.
