It was the craziest day of the year yesterday in college basketball as 6 Top 25 teams were upset. It was the first time ever that Duke, Kentucky and Kansas all lost as favorites. If this is any indication of what is going to happen in March Madness, then it will be a WILD one!

There are 3 games today featuring Top 25 teams. Historically, there is a light schedule on Super Bowl Sunday as the entire country and lots of people from around the world will tune in to the final NFL game of the season.

Villanova has had another perfect week but today they will get challenged by a good Seton Hall team. Although the Wildcats are heavy favorites, they should not look past the Pirates. If Desi Rodriguez can get hot from the 3 point line, this game could go down to the wire. Villanova head coach Jay Wright knows he has his hands full today and will be looking for the home crowd to get them going early.

Ohio State is having a dynamite season so far. They have not been getting much national attention and are flying under the radar. But the Buckeyes are poised for a deep post season run. They should have no trouble today when they host a bad Illinois team. Ohio State is favored by 12.5 points and I think they will cruise past that number. Bates-Diop is averaging 19.6 points per game in a breakout year. Watch out for this Buckeye team come March.

The Arizona State Sun Devils are trying to hold on to the 25th ranked spot. It was just over a month ago when they had crept into the Top 5 before hitting a rough patch. But head coach Bobby Hurley is trying to right the ship on the shoulders of Trae Holder. He is leading the team in scoring at 19 points per game. Washington State has a chance to keep this game close but I don’t think they have the fire power to win the game.
