The Milwaukee Brewers host the Chicago Cubs tonight in the second game of a four game series between the two National League Central teams. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on television on Fox Sports Wisconsin. It will take place at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Cubs are favorites at -144 and the over/under sits at 8.5 runs.

The Cubs are coming off of a big 8-0 win over the Brewers on Thursday night. Zobrist, Bryant, Contreras, and Baez would all get at least two hits and the Cubs bats warmed up. Jon Lester was dynamite on the mound and threw six scoreless innings and only allowed 3 hits and 1 walk. Kyle Hendricks will get the ball tonight for Chicago as they try and take the second game in the series. The Cubs are currently 3-3 on the year.

The Brewers have high expectations this year and were off to a great start before last night’s shutout. But as you have to do in a long and grinding MLB season, you just got to move on after a bad performance and live to fight another day. The Brewers will send starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff to the mound to try and slow down the Cubs hot bats.

Offensively, Milwaukee has some of the hottest bats in the MLB. They have five batters that are all batting over.300, led by Jose Aguilar who is batting .500 through the first seven games of the year. They will have their work cut out for them tonight against Kyle Hendricks who loves to pitch at Miller Field.
