Week 13 is finishing up right now in the NFL as the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. There are still a few games left for every team and plenty of playoff scenarios to play out but we are ready to make our Super Bowl predictions!

The NFC has some extremely strong teams this year. The Minnesota Vikings are going to win the NFC North. The Philadelphia Eagles have the NFC East locked up. The LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks are still battling it out for the NFC West. But I think the New Orleans Saints are the best team in the NFC and will make it to the Super Bowl.

Drew Brees has led the Saints to a 9-3 record including a 31-21 win against the Carolina Panthers yesterday. They are 3rd in the NFL in points per game averaging just shy of 30 points. They are 4th in passing yards but my main reason that I have them going to the Super Bowl is their impressive running game this year.  They are 3rd in the NFL with 142 rushing yards per game. Drew Brees has never had so much talent in the backfield and Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara are the best 2 headed duo in the league. They make the Saints offense deadly and explosive.

The AFC have less talent and there is really only one team that I think will make the run to the Super Bowl. As a shock to few, I am picking the New England Patriots to win the AFC. They have won 8 games in a row and Tom Brady has the offense rolling.  They are 1st in the NFL in yards per game and passing yards per game. Brady has an amazing 26 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. He should win the MVP and continue his future Hall of Fame career with another shot at a ring. There was some bad news today for the Patriots as TE Rob Gronkowski was suspended for 1 game for being an idiot but he will be back after that.

This potential matchup will be a dream for television viewers. It would sure to be a high scoring shootout with 2 future HOF quarterbacks that are still playing at their highest level even though their age tells them they should be retiring.
