First pitch is scheduled for 6:05pm Central Standard Time and the game can be seen on National Television on Fox Sports South East and the YES Network. It will take place at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. The Yankees are huge favorites at -200 and the over/under is 9.5 runs. The weather forecast is for a warm and beautiful night.

The New York Yankees enter tonight’s match-up after putting an 11-1 beat down on the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night. They are now in first place in the American League East and looking like the best team in baseball. A big reason for that is that they are first in the MLB in home runs and slugging %, thanks to Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton.

The Yankees will send rookie pitcher, Jonathan Loaisiga to the mound tonight. He has appeared in 3 games so far and is 2-0. His ERA of 1.93 is fantastic and he has the fan base very excited about his future in the pinstripes.

The Braves are coming off of a big 6-5 win on Sunday against a very good St. Louis Cardinals team. The Braves are 48-34 on the year and are in first place in the National League East. They have a 3 game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Anibal Sanchez will get the ball tonight for the Braves and try and keep a powerful Yankees line-up in check. Sanchez is 3-2 on the year and has a great ERA at 2.68. But his WHIP is even better at 1.09.

This is the first game of a three game series and will give fans plenty of speculation on how the postseason could shape up.
