With Champions League coming back in a month, it is time to look back to the past and pick the best final ever played in Champions League. Of course, we are all hoping that the likes of PSG with Neymar, Real Madrid with Ronaldo, Barca with Messi, or even some English teams, can pull off something legendary this year as well. Let's just wait and see. And while waiting, let's pick the best final of all times.

<h1>Manchester United 2-1 Bayern (1999)</h1>

This was probably the dream final for any English football fan and nightmare for all the Germans. Bayern was dominating most of the game and had one goal lead for the most of the match. Bayern even hit the woodwork twice and failed to increase the lead which could have sealed the deal. And still, it looked like Manchester United, with Sir Alex Ferguson as the manager, had no way to return to the game. And that is when Teddy Sheringham created the miracle and scored 2 goals in the extra time after the corners to give Manchester United the lead 2-1 and bring the European trophy to Manchester. Also, youngster David Beckham was also part of this United team and was a big part of the goals as he was taking the corners. Are there any older fans of Bayern? If yes, I am sorry for bringing this final back to your memory. But it was great, wasn't it?

<h1>Real Madrid 4-1 Atletico Madrid (2013/14)</h1>

One could argue that it was not a beautiful final, but we all have to agree that it was one of the most dramatic finals ever. You can hate or love Sergio Ramos, but he is definitely one of the best captains ever to play football, and his impact on Spanish football and Real Madrid will be remembered for ages to come. In my eyes, Sergio Ramos is one of the greatest defenders in football's history, and it is pretty iconic that Sergio Ramos scored the equalizer against Real Madrid to make the score 1-1 and bring the teams to an extra-time. And that is when Real Madrid, especially DiMaria (he was still a prime player back then), dominated Atletico Madrid and won 4-1. To be honest, I have never seen one team dominating in extra-time as much as Real dominated exhausted Atletico Madrid. But this must be one of the best finals ever just because of Sergio Ramo's header, which in my eyes, is the most important header of the 21st-century football.

This game is not the greatest ever final in Champions League, but it features the greatest moment of Champions League. Just watch the video. Oh my, oh my, Zinedine Zidane was such a legendary player, and if anyone could score such a screamer during the final, it was him. So just sit back, put this video on repeat and enjoy.

<h1>Liverpool 3-3 AC Milan (3-2 After the Penalties) (2004/05)</h1>

As a Liverpool fan, when I get sad, I casually open this video and remember the greatest game in Champions League history. Even though all the other finals were extraordinary, I still think that Liverpool's comeback is the righteous winner of the best Champions League final title. I remember how sad I was after the first-half when AC Milan (that was a great team back then) dominated Liverpool and went 3-0 ahead without a chance for Liverpool to even think about scoring a goal. However, Steven Gerrard, being the great captain as he was, gave a speech during the half-time (what he said still remains a secret) and motivated all the players to a comeback. I felt the shivers coming down my spine when the I saw the score 3-3. However, AC Milan still had some chances to win the game during the extra-time, but Andriy Shevchenko missed some great opportunities. And that's then Dudek, Liverpool's goalkeeper, had the moment of his life. He danced his way through the penalty shootout and brought the trophy to Liverpool.
