We may see single digits, I am not saying it's impossible, but if we remove all the noise, the actual work being done in crypto shows lots of progress and development.

There are things happening now in crypto that people couldn't have dreamt of when Bitcoin was launched.

In the same way when the bull market is in full swing, people start going a bit too far and start expecting $1m bitcoin, I think we are seeing the other side of that where people are going too far in their expectations.

If I had to make a prediction, I don't see Bitcoin going below $2,800.

I think Steem is less predictable as it has been losing market value faster than other coins, going from top 20 to below top 50. I think many large stake holders got lazy. Rather than investing in growing the platform, they chased easy gains via vote selling.

### The value of a social network is the network. That's what we need to focus on. Getting more users and distributing more steem to users that will not sell it as the first opportunity. For the whales, isn't it better to hold 500K steem that is valued at $10 rather than 1M at $0.23? Maybe it's greed or something else that stops them from seeing where the value is.

Hopefully some better guardians will pick up more steem during this bear market

Man, I really look forward to the times whem STEEM will be a top 20 coin again. Not sure how long this is going to take, but I am pretty sure we are going to get there sooner or later!

I really enjoyed the show in MSP waves, and @starkerz really opened my eyes - it’s impressive how much @oracle-d is doing to promote the blockchain and try and bring in big investors.

I had always been under the impression just pulling in users and keeping them was the essential aspect for growth - but it makes complete sense we need new users investing in Steem- and long term users holding it not selling it back out. 

What Steem has is a community of collective minds to find ways to bring investment in, which is where I think continued meets ups like this where ideas and suggestions can be shared will ultimately bring benefit to us all.

Thanks for the mention, I do post now an again it’s just really hard to find them in amongst all the resteems!

We do need people to invest, but we need the right mix of users, developers and content to attract them. I just don't have the funds to invest, but I know people who have bought thousands of Steem.
