It may be that some of the initial hype about Hive is dying down. If it is to succeed then it needs to do what Steem has failed at, such as recruiting large numbers of users who create quality content. You need 'influencers' who will get a buzz going and bring in thousands of new users.  Numbers from @coingecko The STEEM token got a bit of a boost last night from heavy trading. Seems it's still popular in Korea. HIVE is on less exchanges and some, such as @blocktrades, do not get included in the figures. The good news for me is that I will be able to buy a bit more HIVE with what I power down here. I may yet get to orca there this year. I got a bit more STEEM by claiming back what I had invested in @steembasicincome. I am gradually reducing my influence on the Steem platform. That also means not downvoting. Expect to see a lot more milking of rewards and not just by those who are leaving for Hive. I saw Steemit saying they have removed their puppet witnesses, but many of those in the top 20 still need the Steemit vote to stay there. So much for staying neutral. Interesting times.
