I agree. This is pretty bad. If you speak to Smooth in chat, he will generally repair people's reputation. And I'll do what I can as well. My SP is not that high though. I can help with rep repair, i've done it for a few. The only thing you can do is think of your blog as real estate and attract followers. 

Until ego and greed are really acknowledged, along with each person's flaws, I am really afraid not much will change with human evolution. Steemit is just a mirror. The fate of this platform really does lie in the hands of the whales coming to grip with what is possible and what is failure.

I think it is super neat twice in 2 days I have literally spoken some of the same  phrases nearly word for word.  

That could scare some people.  LOL

But I find it oddly comforting and have really appreciated reading your stuff and getting to know you better and  frankly that is the essence of my post about community here.  

Very wise when you said Steemit is but the mirror of humanity.

What I really appreciate about smooth, is that not matter who you are he will take his time to respond to you. He even chased me down once to let me know that he could't respond because a comment was nested, and let me know where he responded.  There are many others in his position that the same could not be said about. I've been reading the fight scenes in dan's as well as ozchart's posts, and I have to defend bernie there too. Curie is huge for people who are just starting out, what they do to encourage new users to stay is pretty hard to dispute. Myself as case in point. Though I was fortunate to be discovered by donkeypong who enjoyed my early series, and I'm guessing brought their attention to me, curie wouldn't exist without a number of whales supporting it, including bernie. 
Nothing is perfect, certainly no individual is. But I believe that this place at the very least has real people offering real possibilities.  I'm glad I found it, no matter what happens.  
stellabelle, by the way, I've seen your comments and you do not give yourself enough credit. You are looked up to on this platform, and what you say is always logical.  steemit is a mirror, perfect example.
