### Let's talk Faith: We betrayed Jesus like Judas & Peter did It is Good Friday, and we celebrate and reflect on Jesus' death on the cross for our sins so that we can reconcile with God. At my home church, we had a couple stations for us to reflect on our lives... There is one specific table called ***"The Betrayal"***. As I look at my life today, I see a lot of Judas and Peter in me. Let's use this time to reflect on our lives as a body. #### We betray Jesus like Judas, when we give greater priority to something in this world: something like money, career, entertainment, reputation, sleep, even friends and family. > "Then one of the Twelve - the one called Judas Iscariot - went to the chief priests and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?" Guilty as charged. Every Lenten season these reflections run through my mind and heart and I always make a resolve to do better. After the Lenten season, they dissolve. This is admittedly quite difficult to do. To stay faithful to Him everyday is even harder than the proverbial eye of the needle and camel going through it. Starting on the right track, I think, can help someone begin the long journey towards faithfulness to the Lord. As they say, every journey starts with the first step. Then the second. And the third and so on. So how do I begin to love especially the least of my neighbors? Start with one. The Lord does not expect us to love everybody immediately. It's like eating in one bite a whole elephant when we know that to eat an elephant we have to do it one at a time, piece by piece. How do I put Him above everything else? Start with one priority. If I value blogging to the point of putting aside my time for Him in prayer and reflection, then start with this. Slowly reduce the time spent for this priority and give the time to Him. How do I feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give shelter to the homeless? Start with one. This is what I will do this year after the Lenten season, so together with my resolve and the Holy Spirit's guidance, I may grow in faithfulness to the Lord. A Happy Easter to one and all!

I agree, it is extremely hard to even live our daily lives, let alone living for HIM! For that reason, we need to remember that this grace and this salvation is given to us not how worthy or how faithful or holy we are, it is grace and by grace alone. We cannot work our way to God except for Jesus, and to proclaim that He died on the cross for our sins, raised from the death after 3 days, and that He himself IS GOD! On the other hand, yes! Starts with ONE! Be the hands and feet of Jesus on this earth so that people know that there is a God who cares for them, to a point He was willing to give up everything to search and save that one lost sheep! :) Happy Easter brother, and may the power of our resurrected King guide you in every step of your way - for He is victorious!

So let me ask you this... Who put Jesus on the cross? You can also say that it is certainly not us because we were not born yet and it was 2,000 years ago. We don't technically betray Jesus with money, but we have put Him at a place less than or even lower than money at times. The type of decisions we make daily put Him on cross, and the sin that we commit daily has no difference than Judas betraying Jesus, has no difference than Peter denying Jesus. We tend to deceive ourselves that this "sin" is less serious than the "sin" or "crime" that Judas, or someone else commit. However, in God's eye, I do not think there is at much difference... All of us fall short from standard, and thus all of us were deserve the death - we should have been the one hang on the cross, not Jesus. I do want to hear your concept or your thoughts about why you think that us sinning doesn't equate to betraying Jesus. :)
