Money is anything acceptable as a means of exchange, that is it can be used to buy any goods. It is easy to make money, but I have no doubt many of us will agree it is the most difficult thing in the world to keep. The road to wealth consist simply in expending less than we earn which Is the problem. For instance, a man who earn one hundred and twenty thousand only, and spends one hundred and twenty eight thousand, is to be the most stupid of men, whereas, to have an income of only one hundred and twenty thousand naira only and spends one hundred thousand is to be the happiest of metals.

It requires dedication and focus inorder to accomplish this economy, but when one get use to it, you will Find more satisfaction in rational saving that in irrational spending.
When you find out that you have less at end of the year, and yet you have good income, I advice you to write down every item of expenditure, post it daily or weekly in two columns, one headed, necessaries and the other headed, luxuries will be ten time greater than the one headed, necessaries. The real comforts of life cost but a small portion of what most of us can earn. This makes many people to start living fake life, for instance a man who has an income of ten thousand naira only, the man brought a part of sandal worth of one thousand naira only, which made his friend to get the same pair of sandal all because he wanted to for in. For anyone reading this, you need not take that trouble. Don't be like his friend who is trying to fit into class that he does not belong to at the moment, you can just get a pair of sandal worth less than that if there is need to because this can lead to your failure .you cannot move forward if you envy other people appeared, this makes handful of people, run up a false standard of perfection and In endeavoring to that standard the constantly keep themselves poor, all the time digging away for sake of outside appearance. You cannot accumulate wealth by taking the road that leads to poverty.
