Song of... my life? Bess Atwell - "Cobbled Streets"

Hah!
The lyrics beautifully reflect what I feel about "going out".
I don't find pleasure in being in crowded places with loud music, trying to connect with people that don't care, taking part in superficial conversations, dancing to music without soul etc. This whole part of culture feels like a big waste of time. I'd rather sleep, train, think or learn.
For a long time I felt I was missing out for not going regularly out. Now I'm just happy I didn't.
Life is much more than superficial relationships, pleasure, partying etc. I'm not gonna waste my time on meaningless things that don't develop me further and I think in the long run I'm happier for it. I wan't my happiness/well-being be based on things I can rely on (knowledge, philosophy, intelligence etc) rather than "fast fun".

We all have to make decision about life that suits us best at the moment. There's no use in regretting. No one knows what would have been or would be. Life just happens regardless. 
But I'm a young shit so maybe I don't know what the hell I'm thinking right now and when I'm 50 I'll look back and wish I'd done something differently. But yeah, we'll never know.
