A few days ago I noticed a new pending payout message I had never seen before: **Max Accepted Payout $1,000**

So I decided to go into investigative mode, but unfortunately, I have not found a lot of information.

But as always I want to pass along what I have learned so far.

<h1>What?</h1>
As its name implies, the **Max Accepted Payment** appears to be a limit that is set to determine the maximum payout a post can receive.

<h1>Why?</h1>
The **Max Accepted Payment** does not show up on every post.  It appears that this setting is put in place by third-party applications.  In my case, I was using @dPoll.  Another Steem user reported seeing the message when using @Streemian.

This setting is most likely set in each application's code.

<h1>Want More Information?</h1>
