Some of us are exchanging Steem for Bitcoins, others have bought a small position of Bitcoins, and still others are considering whether to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon just yet.

Caution. After a 2-year climb, the cryptocurrency has increased tenfold from $3500 to almost $35000 yesterday. Very quickly, bitcoin can also once again make a major downward correction.

Many "experts" suddenly believe that bitcoin is or will be worth $100000 or even $400000. But the same people did not buy when the Bitcoin was at $700. In reality, there is no fundamental basis to calculate the value. 

Right now, too many people just want to get rich quick, but those same people will immediately throw their Bitcoins on the market when things stop going up or they need the money because, for example, like today, the U.S. stock markets are down sharply.

Financial markets are not one-way streets, it never goes ONLY in one direction. So be careful if you still buy bitcoin now. If all people make superpositive statements, they have already bought, who should drive the price further after that? Maybe there will be a correction below $30000 soon and a better entry opportunity at some point.

The currency of the Steemit community on the other hand, I classify as much more stable at the current time.
