Wow, lovely pets. Just don't expose them to danger far beyond what they could bear. I really like the fact you're having fun with them.

Can you let *Checker* come to my house to spend the weekend. Believe me it'll come back being fearless and ready to fight the vacuum cleaners.

Cats think of humans as their natural inferiors. To them, we are servants. We should be grateful that they grace us with their attention.

Vacuums are messengers of the cat devil.

"I'd love to know what they think a vacuum cleaner is!"

He he he. Think of this. Cats have 5 times better hearing than humans. That means your cats hear that loud noise 5 times louder. To them it sounds like the loudest police siren!

Cats know everything about whats on the floor. And they know, that when the vacuum cleaner catches something, that that thing is NEVER seen again. Never. It goes in the tube, and it never comes back. 

A cruel and arbitrary military police force, randomly arresting and taking into custody anything it catches, forever.

And the worst thing. They know YOU are working with this terrible enemy. You are helping it. They see you pushing it. They know what you are doing. You are collaborating with the enemy. Sometimes you even point them out to this terrible thing and it chases them.

But they know another thing. After that terrible noisy cat catching police force leaves town, you will make a fuss of them and love them again. 

Just gotta be quick, find that hiding place, and wait till the cat cops leave town.

Checker reminds me of TS Eliot's poem, "Macavity the Mystery Cat." Here's an adapted quote:

"His powers of levitation would make a fakir stare,
And when you reach the scene of crime—Checker's not there!
You may seek him in the basement, you may look up in the air—
But I tell you once and once again, Checker's not there!"

Cats are the bomb.. I have had so much fun while having cats in our house.. unfortunately forbidden here in our rental apartment in Budapest. Miss it so much.. sometimes they go absolutely nuts and I almost pee myself watching haha.. Thanks for sharing your cuties! I wonder too what they actually think of the vacuum cleaner hehe.. even if its not yellow reaction is still like its a big bad monster that will eat them is my experience lol

My little dog hates the vacuum cleaner too. He charges it, growling and barking fiercely, then runs away. I think, to him, he sees us using the vacuum and thinks we’re doing battle with it – we are pushing and pulling at it, after all – and that it is roaring and growling back at us. He’s just joining the battle! LOL

The thing I find fascinating in cats is their very much human-like spontaneity and randomness; cats are like, an artist that's gone crazy!

That said, be careful while laughing around them - don't wanna be seen doing so by any one of them unless you wanna, just, you know, like, die in the middle of the night due to some random unforeseen "God's act"...Well, at least that's how the newspapers would put it. ;P

Honestly, I have these hairy kitties running all around our house outside in the yard. I don't let them in the house.

A whole family of kittens live in an old wooden step.

People in the neighborhood keep feeding them.

Well that that's my kitty story.
