Bathing at the largest beach in Barcelona, Spain - February 18th

Today marks the fourth day of our five day trip to Barcelona, Spain and we decised to visit Barcelona's most famous beach...

It was cold, but I decided to take a dip still.

The first picture of this post is how I came out of the water, and here is me, out of the water, next to my friend, all suited up, with a scarf and all~... Just to give you an idea of how cold it was :p

You know, people sitting at home thinking the water has july temperatures because the sun is reflecting on it, and photos not conveying temperature data ;)

It sure was awesome! Was the only person swimming haha! :D One person was SUP-ing, true, but he was wearing a full neopren suit to keep him warm :P

Summer is a long way away still and this beach definitely made me miss summer also. :D For some reason unbeknownst to me it is somewhat more pleasant to spend extended amounts of time in seawater in the summer than in the winter... Strange stuff, I'll tell you that.

I checked the temperatures for today and it supposedly has around 12-13 degrees celsius... Probably wasn't much different then... The water wasn't all THAT bad, it was the wind that was the real enemy. :3 But yeah, there's a reason no one else was swimming in there despite the sunny weather :P
