<center>How i cope with angry people at work.. ;)
As a nurse OR any occupation for that matter ;) Deal with humans.. NOT on their best of days ;) 
My care taking tips to handle when people get pissed/uppset with me
* Know your own darkness. walk it of, if you feel its getting to you
* Acknowledge & understand the other person's darkness.
* Know that nothing you say, will work; as they are angry..no point in being rationel when they are screaming bloody murder
* Don't be afraid of anger, it will not hurt you, trust me on that ^^
* Prepare yourself in advance.

*Do your best to respond calmly and intelligently when you face angry people. Learn how to manage your emotions , and practice deep-breathing , so that you stay relaxed during tense interactions. If you feel yourself getting upset, politely take a break from the conversation and go for a walk to calm down.*
>People experience and express their anger in a lot of different ways. Some internalize by pouting or withdrawing. Some yell, scream, swear, or insult others.

 You should ask yourself why the person is angry, what role you may have played, and if there is anything you can or should do to resolve the situation. It’s important to note that a person can be justifiably angry, yet express that anger in an unjustifiable way.

It would be unjustified and unacceptable is if they expressed that anger by yelling at me, swearing at me, or becoming physically aggressive.

### stay calm
By speaking slowly and directly, and keeping our voice calm and soft, we’re less likely to exacerbate a situation. People tend to match each other’s volumes, pace, and general tone, so instead of meeting the angry person where he or she is at—and escalating the situation

### Know when its time to leave the boat
Some times the situation is such that there is unlikely to be any positive resolution. The person may be so angry that a healthy, reasonable conversation simply can’t be had at the time. If that’s what is going on, the best thing to do might be to say, “Let’s talk about this later when we’re calm,” and move on. Or, if it’s a stranger you’ll never see again,  say, “I’m sorry for my part in this,” and walk away.
