### What the Deuce?

People have been asking what the status of The Shane and Muxxy Show is. Well, let's get the information you need out there right now.

@gmuxx had been missing from the last 2 shows for two reasons:

1. He's been sick.  He's been fighting the flu for the last 3 weeks or so and combined with his MS, that doesn't make for good radio. He needs his rest, but the MS doesn't allow for it.
2. Due to various factors we will not go into, Muxxy has stepped down from his Mod position. I support his decision 100%

### What Does This Mean For The Show?

Well, it means that there is no show this week. However! We are rebranding and will be continuing the Show once Muxx has fought the flu off and we rebrand away from MSP. We do not have a date to return as we are also throwing around ideas for format changes. We were in a position with the show to fill 2 hours, which worked well with most of our guests. Some were not fully available for 2 hours, which caused us to try to kill time, while others could have gone for another 2 hours.  We are looking to have more freedom and I suspect that when we re-launch, the show will go as long as it needs to, whether that's 1 hour or 15 hours.

### What about SLIDERFEST!?

Sliderfest was funded by the liquid rewards from using the minnowsupport account. We will not be using that account to promo the shows. So we are currently looking at other ways to fund the 26.667 Steem per week it costs to run the initiative.

### What about Shane?

Shane continues to be a member, moderator, and supporter of MSP, and the show moving is in no reflection of his own views. @gmuxx and I have discussed this at length, and we both agree that there is no conflict. So. 

### TL;DR

Shane and Muxxy Show is relaunching soon with no time constraints, Sliderfest will continue in some form. Shane and Muxx are supportive of each other.
