MS Dhoni waa left out of the central contract for this year as BCCI published a list of 27 players with central contracts today. The players have been divided in four categories with A+, A, B and C. The least nimber of players(3) feature in A+ list while the most of them(12) have been put in A list. 

Dhoni was on the elite list last year but now finds himself nowhere. The BCCI had stated earlier that they now want to look beyond Dhoni and give chances to new players. Dhoni hasn't played in a international match since the exit in the semi-final of the World Cup which was played in England last year.

### Is This The End of Dhoni!
To be honest, I don't think so. He is excellent finisher and has a cool head on his shoulders who plays really well when the team is in trouble. Yes, he is 38 years old but that doesn't mean he isn't a worthy player anymore. He is still one of the quickest between the wickets. He is still an agile wicketkeeper who has his own style. 

Dhoni is the man who lifted the World Cup for India after 28 years. He is the most successful captain of India and he has also peeformed with the bat in hand especially in ODI's where his average is over 50. Hqving this sort of average in 350 one day internationals is no joke. I think that he is still capable of playing at least for a year and India should give him that opportunity to play because he has earned the right to call it quits whenever he wants.
