If you are a huge movie’s fan, you will know that you have to rip through many films of the genre in order to find a good gore movie, but they do exist and most are "old", since now they have gone more for the CGI effects and less for makeup, which is a very bad decision for this type of movie. It is also understood because many of the gore movies do not have a sufficient budget and end up being a bad movie, for this same reason recommending movies of the genre is difficult because it is very easy to fall into movie recommendations that we have all already seen. However, I want to mention here those that marked a before and after in gore movies, those that are (although they are missing, because I will mention only 3) cults in the genre:

Se entiende también porque muchas de las películas gore no tienen el presupuesto suficiente y terminan siendo una mala película, por esta misma razón recomendar películas del género es difícil porque es muy fácil caer en recomendaciones de películas que ya todos hemos visto. Sin embargo, yo quiero mencionar aquí las que marcaron un antes y después en las películas gore, las que son (aunque faltan, ya que mencionaré solo 3) cultos en el género:*

 -Bad taste: this movie is cult and I had already talked about it. I do not change my opinion about the movie, it seems bad to me, but it seems incredible to me how Peter Jakcson (the director of The Lord of the Rings) made with his friends and with almost no budget, a film that became cult for its great gore scenes.

-Hostel: I could have continued with the Cannibal Holocaust or Evil Dead, but this is not a top, is a compilation of movies that I watched and want to revive. And I want to revive Hostel because it was surely the first movie of the genre I watched, and it really terrified me when I saw it; Now, older, I see it again and I can't believe that it is so well made, with a way of showing itself “under” but without actually being it.
