# <center>INTRODUCTION</center>
Hi guys, good day from this end. You know I had been in the Eastern part of Nigeria for a while now, on vacation tho. After series of activities in Imo State Nigeria, I moved down to Aba Abia State to get a new phone for a better service in my steemit activities.

I went back to my village, so I could prepare and move back to Lagos Nigeria, my base.

Basically, today I visited the stream. Though I went to do some washing in the stream. So in this diary, I want to show you my village stream. The water actually flows from a rock, though I didn't get to it's source.

# <center>23RD JANUARY 2021 DIARY</center>
I woke up on January 23rd 2021 by past 6am. I prayed and was ready for the day.

I went about a house chores, which includes sweeping the compound. The chores were shared, my sisters fetched from water the stream, did the cooking and washed the dishes, while I did the sweeping.

After my chores, I had to make a post on #mytown10pics, though I tried making the post the previous night, but couldn't because of poor network connection in the village. I had started preparing to go back to Lagos, so I decided to do my laundry, after making my post.

My mum suggested that I go wash the clothes in the village stream, to save some water since the public tap is faulty.

I dressed up and left for the stream at around past 10pm.

The below picture is the road to the stream. It is located along Obugwu-Ariam village market axis.

I got to the stream at few minutes to 11am. Some persons were already in the stream washing their clothes as well, as seen in the below picture.

I joined them and started washing mine, I soaked some with detergents, while I wash others that doesn't need detergents immediately. After which I washed off the soaked clothes later.

I was done washing and got on my way going home at around past 12pm. I got home at past 1pm.


I had to spread my clothes for drying, while I had a cold bath because of the hot weather.

After my bath, I had my launch at around past 2pm. After which I had to catch up with some rest, but had some discussions with my mum and sisters.

Currently a neighbor village of  ours is having some heated fight over land boundaries, and there had been serious exchange of bullets between the 2 villages, with several casualties wounded and others killed.

So we were actually discussing on the fight and the possible ways it could be resolved. It was actually a very long discuss that we had, because the fight is getting out of hand. Recently, military groups came to separate the fight and make peace between the 2 villages, one of the villages refused the peace talk and killed 2 military personnels at the spot, so there had been panic on the air already.

My phone had already gone off since I came back from the stream, and the electric power supply here is poor, so I just had to use the discussion to keep myself busy.

After the long discuss, which lasted for hours, i slept off on the cushion while resting.

I woke up from my siesta at few minutes to 7pm, wow how time flies.

I had my dinner afterwards, freshened up and had to use generator to charge up my phone battery a bit.

I was done charging my phone by past 10pm and decided to make this my diary post, but the network was too bad for it, not until now. 

So I retired to bed for the day's activities after series of battling with the network and finally making my post.

This was how I spent my 23rd January, 2021, it was nice having you around.
