Excellent impression of you. It's a city with a very different culture from where I live. I imagine it must be something really nice to take a trip there.

The city is as hot as the rest of Mexico???

The only things I know about Mexico is the hotel in Acapulco, the immense heat that makes there and that Mexican pepper is the strongest in the world hehehe, besides the zippy!!!
