The way I see it, it will still dig deeper than this. Quite a lots of people have been discouraged and are emotionally affected by these dips. I think it's a good thing, since a lot of people here are in their early or late twenties, it's important that we learn early in life that things won't always go up - no matter how we wish or pray, it's just life.

I feel guilty reading the text that precede this one. As a young graduate trying to get myself a job, I think I have not given my job search the energy it deserve in the last few weeks. Also, a lot of my online learning programs did not receive enough attention as they did before I came onboard the Steemit platform. But with the dips we have now, I have been putting together a lot of my life outside the walls of Steemit. I hope to strike a balance in a few more weeks to come.

I like that you are critical and this was something I had to think about a long time before I desided to make Steemit my full time job. At end of all the pro-con lists, Steemit drew the longer straw. I was prepared for the price drop and I knew it would happen eventually, but even with the steem value this low, I’m happy with my decition, and I’m more happier in general. This career is definitely not for everyone though, it requires some pretty tough nerves at times.

Many of us live from day to day.  Each new day offers an opportunity to change strategies.  Survival for many is 'pure' motivation.

I got on steemit just after my job as a blogger came to an end. It was either steemit or look at the ceiling. Getting jobs over here isn't easy, in fact it is almost nonexistent. 
I have done some withdrawals of sbd regularly but I only do so when the situation is dire and I have tried all offline options possible. 
I hope to get a job soon,  I need to get a job soon, so I can handle my account and wallet in a better manner. 
I mostly hodling and waiting for things to balance out.  I envision long term investment here on the platform and I am doing my best to have as much as I can when things get better.

It's funny how quick FOMO can shift to FUD.

Eh... more like since last year and the year before :P

Don;t depend on Steem for a steady income or to replace a real job, that's for sure! :D

Let's bring Steem back to $0.06 :D Full steem all the way down :D That will get rid of a bunch of people. I left at times when the price was going up... lol. I learned about flagging being an issue when it affected me hard for sure ;)
