Your hilarious. I think you have hit the stake on the head though. If they were indeed nicer we could and gave back to the community think of the things we could achieve. 

Sadly I am a fan of vampire fan fiction but I like pretty much anything with a fantasy or sci-fi element. Please don't hold it against me lol...

In the series being human. A vampire, a werewolf and a ghost all become unlikely friends live by together. So maybe it's possible that not all vampires are arseholes.

I agree, but can't say it too loudly because I live in a liberal state filled with blood suckers and don't want to be accused of racism, bigotry, etc. LOL.

This was great - a creative way to get your point across without calling out anyone specifically. I think the ***vampire-hunters*** should be doing more to ***stake the suckers*** instead of squabbling among one another. This platform won't work to it's potential unless they do.

Lol... They have the time,  the opportunity, the knowledge,  the resources to make a real difference but they don't. This is a true reflection of certain individuals in our community; they live off the community but contribute little or nothing to the well being of the community despite their ability to. 
For example,  my aunt lives on a government residential area in my state.  The area is filled with houses own by career politicians.  In fact,  the state legislative quarters is set along the same road as my aunt's place.  
The road is one of the worst roads in that part of town.  Despite these people's wealth and position,  they act like they don't see the state of the road.  They pass you on their four wheelers,  while you swim in rank,  rat infested water into your home. 
These are vampires.  They want the attention,  the front row seats,  the fawning sycophants willing to sell their souls to please them,  yet they give nothing. 
It is the way of the world but it should not be so.  We can be better,  give more,  help more,  participate more,  create more opportunities for everybody. 
This is why the reward system of steemit intrigues me.  You get rewards for interactions not blind likes, not fawning but beneficial interactions.  I just hope that we,  as humans,  can find ways to replicate the system in the real world.

Hah, I've never been a vampire lover but I've also never thought about them that way. Now, that you disclosed this point, I see it. You are so right!! I mean sure, after becoming a vampire there might be some struggeling with new identity, a new vampire might need some time to adjust, maybe take a vampire vacation or something for a couple of years. However, after a couple of years, or a decade or after 100 years, why not do something meaningful? Losers..

I pooped today. It was so fun.

I ended in a Sh..t storm, because I defended the Danish Zoo that killed a giraffe and feed it to the lions.  Vampire Diaries (US TV show) wrote to their fans about my point of view. I got temporary banned from Twitter and received lots of hate from these vampire fans. I know what you mean. Vampires sucks! They are parasitic and nasty. Do you know that vampires are real. There are people out there that need to suck energy from others. Look up energy vampires. I also write about them in my blog.
