Yeah, there is various differences in witnesses though, so they don't all have to be dapp makers. I am glad some of them are essentially purely technical and interested in keeping the chain healthy in various ways. We tend to have abit of an issue when it comes to, *out of sight, they must be lazy.* It isn't necessarily true.

I get that and I don't want all the top witnesses to be dapp developers, but just like Steemit Inc they need to be transparent in what they are working on. In a way they're elected politicians and need to be help accountable by the people for sharing all the hard work they're putting in even if we have no idea what it means to ensure they're "earning their keep" A little sarcasm in there, but TLDR I know all aren't programmers, just wish they'd give value-added updates every once in a while so we can thank them for their hard work.
