I am glad you keep posting this type of stuff. It is crucial that more is moved to open source. We already see what happens when technical corporatacracy takes over. Open source is one way we alleviate that as more of our lives become digital.

It looks to me like the days of corporatocracy are quite possibly numbered. It sounds too good to be true, but I don't think they can beat Open Source. Look what happened to Microsoft. They did everything in their power for a couple of decades, and now they have no choice but to embrace it. They even have the Linux kernel in their OS. I hope I'm not wrong and get blind-sided by some evil shit they play, but I can't see it.

I hope you are correct. I know you watch it closely and have done so for a long time. It is encouraging to see you say that believing that it will come to pass. It is amazing to see how many projects are going open source even by the big boys. Even mega tech cant deny what is going on. There are simply too many people who are technically capable in the era. They can add on much quicker than any centralized organization. As blockchain makes more inroads, I hope they embrace open source on all projects. Some will try to hold out believing they can still control things. In the end, they might end up losing.
