Long beautiful autumn

When I was preparing a post about the fence of the Bobrinsky Palace, I sincerely believed that this was the last post about the golden autumn. But as it turned out, I was somewhat hurried: the weather improved, the sun peeped out and the bright spots of the remaining autumn foliage, almost imperceptible in overcast weather, again shone on background the blue sky.

This is the garden facade of the Bobrinsky Palace, view from the Admiralty Canal. The fence with antique busts is to the left, and on the right the garden it is closed by the wall of an ordinary apartment house. One of the apartments in this house was occupied by the russian painter Alexandre Benois.

Most of the trees look like this now:

But if you take a closer look and make the plan bigger, the November photos are almost the same as in October.

Moreover, from time to time there are persistent maples, which are not in a hurry to fly around.
