The Mountains of GRAN CANARIA
Es gibt ein **Gran Canaria** abseits der überlaufenen Strände und Bettenburgen. Zum einen kann man ganz in der Nähe der berühmten **Sanddünen** von **Maspalomas** gepflegt **Golf** spielen. Das Salobre Golf Resort verfügt über kleine gut ausgestattete Villen mit eigenem Pool. Wer es gerne romantisch mag, der fährt nach **Puerto de Mogán.** Hier isst man gut und kann die kleine Hafenstadt erkunden.

Das **Bergland** der Insel ist sehenswert. Der Name "Grand Canyon de Gran Canaria" ist zwar recht hochgestochen, aber die Gegend ist traumhaft. Eine gut ausgebaute Straße schlängelt sich hoch zum **Pico de las Nieves,** dessen Spitze meistens **über der Wolkendecke** zu sehen ist. Sogar in den Bergen der Insel leben Menschen. Kleine **urige Bergdörfer** passen sich gut in die Landschaft ein.

Ein verlängertes Wochenende auf Gran Canaria ist richtig fein. Die Auswahl ist groß: wer gerne am **Strand chillt** kann das hier ebenso, wie **Golf spielen** oder in den Bergen auf **alten Wanderwegen** die Landschaft genießen.
