# Fungi
I have seen many post photos of Fungi recently and I ever commented on one that I haven't had any luck seeing any, well that changed a little on a walk around the ponds recently and here are a couple of shots.

As you will see they were dried up and not fresh but I still thought they were worth a shot or two,

I went with mono for this second shot at a different angle, I had hoped to see some simple mushrooms around the ponds but did not see even a single one, but at least I saw these so I can not say I haven't taken any shots of fungi now.

I wasn't quite sure whether I preferred the color or B&&W version better so I decided to share both.

I preferred color. Man, the wonderful world of fungi. I wish i knew the name of the fungi you showcased here. Currently, i am talking a 16 mushroom blend. I am taking it as an elixir. The mushrooms are dried and powdered. I take them with cacao powder, macca powder, marshmallow root powder, coconut cream powder, add hot water and a bit of sweetner and coconut oil. Blend and enjoy. Tastes like hot chocolate. I am in the market for roasted powdered dandelion root. Add that to the mushroom and  cacao and it tastes like a nutritious coffee substitute. Nature so amazing. Happy Easter!! 🌷🐣🌱

Thanks for your feedback I think I prefer the color version as well, thats an interest mix you are taking, I don't need a coffee substitute I have never been a coffee or any form of hot drink person, nowadays I mostly just drink water

Really pretty fungus, not sure what the name would be.  The Chicken of the Woods mushroom grows like that but it is bright orange and yellow (and edibles)  I think I like the color photo best for this @tattoodjay! Glad to see you're finally able to get out! Spring is here!

I prefer the B&W photo, JJ. Both versions are nice, but the black-and-white one looks better to me ;)

I have no clue what's the name of these mushrooms - Google didn't help either ;)

If you want to go and collect edible mushrooms, then you should not take me with you, because I won't find any ... I am mushroom-blind ;) ... but last weekend I have found one: I was walking, when I saw some ducks on the path searching something in the grass. When I came closer I saw this morel or Morchella mushroom - the first one I have ever seen :)

That is such a cool Mushroom I am not sure I have ever seen one like this, I to am mushroom blind I seldom ever see them so I had to get shots of these ;)

As for edible mushrooms i have no idea so I only eat the ones served in restaurants or available in t a supermarket

I have seen it on photos, but never in nature. I even haven't eaten this mushroom before, I think. So, I was quite surprised when I saw it 😁

I also prefer to buy my mushrooms, because I am never sure if it's edible when I accidently find one 🤔

Thats a nice take on it, I seldom ever come across mushrooms and Fungi, so when I saw these i had to get shots, I must admit the colors of these did catch my attention, and yes I think your right as we get older and perhaps do something less our thoughts do get more colorful :)
