AN OVERVIEW OF THE GEOMA DAO

Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is one of the most prevalent innovations which came to play almost the same time as the Blockchain technology.

The Blockchain is currently sweeping across different sectors, gaining its ground and disrupting every system which it enters, while operating in a decentralized way.
But one of the most challenging things for the Blockchain based systems is that a part of it, is still centralized.
Governance or management of these systems are still under the centralized control, making it difficult to achieve the main aim of the Blockchain, which is centralization.
This is a setback that has plagued the Blockchain industry, and needs a solution in order for the system to move forward.

The Decentralized Autonomous Organization on the other hand has not been very famous, as a reliable governance model, since its inception.
This is because to most people, it seems like a fantasy, while to others, it is impossible to achieve decentralized management, following the deep claws of centralized bodies in every system.

Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) being adopted as a governance structure, could me an era of great revolution for the world, as every aspect of the global system will be affected positively by it.

INTRODUCING GEOMA DAO, EFFECTING A GREAT CHANGE

The Geoma system is decentralized system, developed by a team of Blockchain enthusiasts, who wish to see the Blockchain technology, being used more effectively.

That is why Geoma has leveraged the use of the DAO in combination with the benefits of the Blockchain, to achieve a system which is dedicated towards guaranteeing a greater future.

The Geoma system recognizes the fact that the DAO, Blockchain technology, and other like technologies could change the world, if given the needed boost and support.

So, in its pursuit of a dependable governance system and a better future, Geoma DAO came to light.
This Decentralized Autonomous Organization isn't like anything you've seen before, as it is designed to efficiently serve as a fully decentralized management system,, with the full support of the Blockchain technology.

This achievement of the Geoma system helps to improve the functioning of the Blockchain and its technologies.

I know this breeds a question of "how?"

HOW WILL THE GEOMA DAO BE USED TO ACHIEVE AN EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE SYSTEM?

Geoma DAO works based on the activities of the members of the system called contributors.
To choose a possible list of projects to develop, these contributors propose on the projects to build on.

In order to pick and fully develop a particular project, voting is done within the community by the contributors, after which a consensus is reached, when a project wins the vote.

During the execution of that project, another voting is done, so as to choose the contractors that will execute the project.

This way, everyone has a say in the running of the system, it is no longer left rigidly for the central authorities, as seen in the Centralized governance models.

THE GMD TOKEN

A currency is very vital for the operation of every system, and the Geoma platform is not an exemption to this, as it has developed its own cryptocurrency, called the GMD token.

The Geoma GMD token is an Ethereum-based token of the ERC-20 standard.

It is a utility token with great uses on the Geoma system.

It gives its holders the right to be contributors on the platform, and so the ability to make proposals as well as vote on the system.

Geoma DAO is an answer to the prayers of the different Blockchain industry, that are still being governed by centralized system,because through Geoma, decentralization can now set into their system.

The financial industry will also record a high rate of improvement, due to the turnaround which Geoma DAO on Blockchain systems will bring.

Geoma will greatly affect both the present and set a course for a guaranteed future.
