Upbit | An Exchange By Kakao Talk and Powered By Bittrex | Another Exchange for Steem and SBD

South Korean company Dunamu who is also the operator of Kakao stock has released Korea First Virtual Currency Exchange know as Upbit.

Upbit got famous during this [incident](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@tech-trends/crypto-anomaly-bittrex-dumped-thier-altcoins-or-this-caused-massive-crash-in-the-market) when Bittrex had dumped their 10-15% of Altcoin holdings as they had a deal with upbit.

Now Upbit is supporting to trade for 110 Coins in 117 markets, as of now it is in Beta Testing since 24th Oct , but is limited to users who had pre-registered for it in Kakao talk , the BETA testers can use Upbit on Android, iOS and through website. Others who were not able to pre-register for BETA can use it after the invite only period is over.

Now coming to the **Big News** for Steemians Upbit allows it's users to trade Steem or Steem Dollars(SBD) to be traded in their exchange so now we have got another Big exchange. 

After Upbit is fully launched, the Korean Community of Steemit can use it to trade their Steem and Steem Dollars(SBD) for Korean Won. Thus it will increase the number of Korean community.
