Combination of technology with art would yield a breath-taking masterpiece right? Theorethically speaking yes, but in reality it will be a marvel; Just like this Hydro power generating dam. An ordinary glance, you probably see a painting, but on a deep closer look; There is an engineering feat blending with nature and landscape.

This is one of the Worlds most beautiful Hydro-Power Dam in existence. Who can imagine such a blend in Technology and nature, such a beauty in such a place where huge amount of power is been generated.

Grimsel Pass Dam, situated in Switzerland- beautiful example of engineering structure blended into the landscape, bringing out a classical painting and an architectural achievement. Located in the mountain pass of Switzerland, as high as 7,100ft above sea level.

Lake Grimsel, an artificial lake built for the purpose of generating electrical power from water in 1932. This stored water can be converted into electrical energy at any time with the aid of massive _**Turbines**_. This Turbines converting hydro power into electricity runs all year round on higher trenches.

For maintenance purposes, the turbines are in pairs because one has to stop and the other to continue running to keep the generation constant at a certain generation output say: 3000 Mega Watts.

The Swiss power grid is relentlessly and with precision regulated by this state-of-the-art power plants.

Aside from been a Power generating station/Dam, this is an exciting toursim centre combining Hydro-Power, Waterfalls, Reservoirs, Hotels and Tourist centers; it is the perfect place for a vaction.

With many things to learn as a family and as individuals with provisions for tour guides and techs to educate Tourist on the importance of an Power Generation and consumption in an economy.
