If there is one thing that has changed me totally in the last few days, it is this newly created crypto trading called Digitex Futures Exchange. We are talking about an exchange that has brought solutions to the drawbacks faced by crypto exchanges across the globe. In a nutshell, Digitex Futures is just what you have been searching for as a crypto trader.

I am not the best of writers, that I dare not call myself unless I want my pen to lose all its ink. Also, I have not been into crypto trading for so long. And this has been my greatest regret in life. I am sure I am not the only person who regrets not being among the early adopters of cryptocurrency. Many are raking in millions of Dollars today, thanks to their belief in Blockchain technology. Or okay, let us be frank; they might not believe that it has a great potential and even if they did, they were not expecting it to be this successful. Today, they are respected figures in the society. So many people look up to them and countless traders listen to their advices and predictions. Well, we cannot change the past. Nothing can. Not even a time traveller. However, the future is right in our palm to plan exactly how we want it to be and when we plan our future with respect to cryptocurrency trade; we cannot but hope for a Trustless Futures Trading. You might be wondering why I am so concerned about the background of Blockchain technology in this blog. I will say this: You are free to wonder, and that is why you are wondering. You are free to imagine how things should be done. You are free to think about the future. This is all possible because you have the FREEDOM to do whatever you want with your assets at any time without any constraint today. That was one of the things missing in the old-fashioned ways of trading that we were so used to before the birth of Blockchain technology.

Everything was centralized. Accounts balances and ledgers were run by banks and other forms of exchange. We had to put our TRUST in those centralized systems. You are not even going to get your money that you saved in the bank without undergoing some troubles. Real troubles. Depositing is as easy as drinking water; withdrawing is as hard as body-building. Our data: what we do online, the activities that we are interested in, the music we listen to, the TV programs that we love to watch, the movies we see, our way of reasoning, all these are known, and what did some social media do with our data? Sell them out. I am not going to emphasize on this but in a nutshell, centralized systems have used the advantage of being the middlemen against us. Blockchain technology operates on decentralized technique and has saved us greatly, way more than we can imagine. We are yet to understand fully how this has helped us.

<div><h3>Cryptocurrency exchanges and TRUST</h3></div>

TRUST does not only work on centralized systems alone. It is just the same with the so-called decentralized Blockchain technology. Okay, I know our digital assets are running on millions of computers and strings are being pulled by some codes and mathematical formulas. Only we can access our wallets unless we give our keys out or we somehow leave them where people can access them. However, you still have to TRUST exchange systems with your tokens and this is not very much what we want.

Coinbase is one of the best and most used exchange platforms out there thanks to their user-friendly UI that is easy for even a beginner to use and good security system that can withstand hacking threats. However, they are known for their very high commission charges and transaction fees that may eat up all your profits before you know it. That is not even what we are talking about here. I will write a blog that will open our eyes to what we have been losing through transaction charges and how Digitex Futures has been exactly what we need but here I us want to understand how TRUSTLESS FUTURES TRADING is just what we need right now.

We embraced the idea of having our money hanged with exchange systems because we believe that is a better option compared to only having it on USB discs. Of course, encryption devices could give us peace of mind as our money would be safe from hack attacks but what if the discs get corrupted? What if we lose our devices? That is not what we want. The time came for us to believe that our money is safer on exchange platforms while we HODL in order to sell our tokens at a later time, hopefully at higher prices. Among the famous cryptocurrency hacking incidents in history is the **Mt. Gox** hack which resulted in a loss of around 850,000 Bitcoins in 2014 valued at $450 million USD at the time. That money should buy you a whole city in Africa. Few months later, **Bitstamp**, one of the oldest exchanges still operating today suffered the same fate losing nearly 19,000 Bitcoins. That was valued $5 million USD at the time. Just how much is that in Won; Korea’s currency? Again, **Bitfinex** shared the same fate in 2016 when 120,000 Bitcoins valued $66 million USD were lost. If you ask me to continue with the exchanges that have suffered hacking attacks ever since the emergence of Blockchain technology, you may end up getting tired. I mean the list is long. And what is so frustrating about these incidents is that many of the victims have never received compensations.
