The next little ice age Vol. 21 The solar wind and the creation of Lightning August 16-2017 Good morning, afternoon, night depending on where the reader is. We start with the sunspots as always. The new group of sunspot 2671 continues its growth and instability in its magnetic regions and is producing solar flares of class C. What makes us very attentive given that in the coming days it is geo-effective. ![_20170816_150619.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQTXFshaKeypD9VgY34qrRrxuoU4a5prfcaPWGUKyEWKd/_20170816_150619.JPG) Source ESA & NASA The huge coronal hole continues on its way to the western region of the Sun. Although it has not yet been noticed the fast solar wind on earth will do so in the next few hours. According to the Noaa 70% chance of G1-class magnetic storms for day 17 and will drop to 50% on day 18. ![_20170816_150513.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSU7J5bT7SYZWb6u1eUKFyTxmHPrRWMyhYc9VBzLKVf1Y/_20170816_150513.JPG) ![_20170816_150404.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVFx8G6ndcR4R8AwnxZrUEF1p9MtGXmcb7T4NgewuDDqn/_20170816_150404.JPG) Source ESA & NASA. As every day we will see the graph of ccmc that shows us the current conditions of our magnetosphere. ![_20170816_121042.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaKH51muRokKPq7hSrVe1Hth7EZYL6zPZqKQgcBHhdchk/_20170816_121042.JPG) Source ccmc nasa. -Small explanation of the reading of the graph: In this graph the Sun is on the right the earth is the two-colored sphere (white and black) the dotted line is the orbit of the satellites that perform the readings. The solar wind arrives from the right pushing the lines of the magnetic field towards behind. If the lines are black the particles of the solar wind are pushed back and if they are red it is because the solar wind pushes them and collide. When they collide with each other, they close the circuit and discharge to the earth. They produce light phenomena in the upper layers of the atmosphere (auroras boreales) -Summary : The current conditions are as follows, we have the solar wind at 340km / sec and the density of protons at 11 protons per cubic centimeter. We will have to be very attentive the next few hours. The current state is calm. ![_20170816_121115.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmP8tNjaDQnEMiU4ttRHv76Kn4xrMDDYtm6rpgb424WZRH/_20170816_121115.JPG) Source ccmc nasa. -Conspiracy? Looking for sources to do another post I have found a study done by Dr Christopher Scott in 2008 on the fast solar wind and the formation of lightning. Which is good for me to continue trying to explain how the different solar events affect the Earth's climate. -Solar activity increases the amount of rays they discharge on our planet. This is suggested by a study that observed that when bursts of high-speed solar particles enter the atmosphere, the number of lightning strikes increases. The solar wind on its arrival to the earth usually causes auroras in the polar regions but this investigation shows how in addition they can have an influence in the climate. When the scientific community in general pointed out precisely the opposite effect, they theorized that when the fast solar wind arrived they would have the effect of a broom sweeping the cosmic rays that are known to have a great importance in the creation of clouds.Based on that fact it was predicted that when the solar wind arrived, the lightning would decrease. Quite the opposite. Scott and his team observed that when the speed and intensity of solar winds increases, so does the rate of lightning strikes. -Quote : "On the other hand, what we observe is a marked increase in lightning. It turns out that these solar winds bring with them a population of particles of slightly lower energy and they are increasing the rate of lightning" - Dr Christopher Scott Associate Professor in Space & Atmospheric Physics Reading University Although the mechanism is not known exactly, scientists suggest that particles may be penetrating storm clouds, facilitating the discharge of electrical energy in the form of lightning. So once again we have a scientific study that proves how the solar wind intervenes in the creation of lightning, however in the mass media you will be able to find thousands of newspaper articles that blame in its totality to the global heating of the increase of lightning in the Earth. Making the majority of the population reach an idea interested for their own interests. Since it has been proven to be inaccurate. Due to the weakening of our natural shield the magnetosphere, there is a growing incidence of solar wind and the increase in mega-storms such as those suffered in Australia last year or in India two years ago. Causing many respiratory problems caused by the very high levels of ozone that occurs when the lightning pass through the atmosphere by breaking the atoms of Oxygen. In addition to the thousands of injured and killed each year by direct impact of the lightning. But… What do you think? All opinions are important to me. If you found the post informative and you liked it please upvote! Feel free to restreem! If you want to continue discovering more about our sun, follow me.You can also read my previous post. *I advise you to read my previous posts in which I contributed data from recently published studies. ** I would like to make it clear that this series of articles is not intended to be a scientific document. It is a blog about the daily Solar activity and its possible effects for us humans. Since the Solar activity can have a great impact in different aspects of our life (changes in the climate, increase of the vulcanology and the seismicity, the UV radiation and damage the electrical systems and of telecommunications) Source : http://centaur.reading.ac.uk/18463/ Thank you very much for the code to @playfulfoodie <center>[![](https://steemitimages.com/50x60/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/commented.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) [![](https://steemitimages.com/60x70/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/votes.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) [![](https://steemitimages.com/70x80/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/posts.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) [![](https://steemitimages.com/100x80/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/level.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) [![](https://steemitimages.com/70x80/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/comments.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) [![](https://steemitimages.com/60x70/http://steemitboard.com/@teks/voted.png)](http://steemitboard.com/board.html?user=teks) Gift-thanks to @Son-of-Satire ![20170803_123449.gif](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTExCr2XkLNUiXoERBpRa5GHZEUmWqjC6i2i9oibvvBr2/20170803_123449.gif) @originalworks

Increased lightening and cloud formation. Seems like it supports the electric universe theory believers more than the magnetic universe theory believers.

If in addition to supporting the electric universe theory explains how the space climate acts directly on the Earth's climate. And it takes some weight away from global warming theories. Today I found with a very unpleasant surprise to not be able to accede to the page of the sdo of the nasa. I do not know if it is a web problem or I have blocked the IP. You can try if you can enter the link? https://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov

The terrestrial magnetosphere lives in perpetual cyclic oscillation. In periods of thousands of years. It goes through periods in which it increases, periods in which it is maintained and periods in which it decays until practically does not exist. At that moment there is what is known as magnetic reversal. And we repeat the previous cycle. Now we are in the descending part of this cycle.
