>No. Rich people don't "push around" anybody. It's only the government.

LOL.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase power corrupts?

And that money is power?

Put those two together and then get back to me.

There are several people who have problems with certain whales. I'm not one of them, but the only way any of the whales are punished by market forces is if steemit itself suffers... in which case we all suffer due to one wealthy person's actions.

That's exactly how it works when, say, a corporation disposes of toxic waste improperly. The executive who made that decision will see the least effect, and you're basically just hoping market forces will punish him. Look at the 2008 crash, none of the executives suffered any real consequences while millions of poor people lost their homes.

Ok, but using your own power is not corruption. Corruption usually refers to somebody using other people's money for dishonest reasons. If it's your own money you can do whatever you want.

Money is power, but without nukes and tanks, the worst thing it can do is to buy real estate.

C'mon without the ability to wage war (which is too costly even for the richest billionaire) the worst thing that can happen is that they will construct real estate, which they already do, and there is nothing wrong with that.
