So imagine a shrine full of quiet people, you among them, trying to practice meta and to become as skillful as possible. You can feel the vibration, the intentions and the good we are all trying to express with all our beings. 

I am sited on the front row, among other reasons, my hearing acuity is not the best so I am trying to get the most of the dharma teachings. I am calm and serene and I sent meta to the random people I've met this evening and to the planet, the galaxy and so on. All peace and quiet, my mind was amazing relaxed and then something unexpected ruined my perfect meditation universe.

I heard the gong, the first one and a felt a giggling inside my chest. I was trying to trick the cough by sending meta to my chest and to my mind as well ( I quietly started to suffocate :) My eyes started to fill with tears on the corners and I could not longer concentrate on the breathing. I was just stubborn and I had like a land mark, I was waiting for the second gong. 

The saving sound arrived and I pulled myself out of misery buy coughing with all my lungs for about 2-3 minutes. I knew that the sound was even louder than my in my years as all of us were in silence. I just relaxed and get it all out. What I believe was different this time, yes it happend before, was that I skipped the guild and shame part of my cough. I just knew that we are on our own path and even my cough can help someone deepen their meditation.
