<hr>Once a Night
She took off everything,
until only innocence was left.
Her world became bigger with
a slice of pain,a gift from myself.<hr>

met is her sweet becoming gaze
that savory ocular innocence 
built to shadow her soft, fluid, longing intent
that whispers, 
"I am open to you."<hr>

and with my head 
full of rocks and irrelevance
I unconsciously enter
and sigh<hr>

<hr>Once, again, twice more
our love traces a metronome 
So soon does it become
an inhale
exhaled
I lean into her
limbs aside
in a love extension
a vital push through tension
and the small red brook that follows
flows to fill a page
and rest a mind<hr>

<hr>Her skin was white as snow,
Her lips were red as wine,
I saw the halo around her head,
A creature once divine
you and i--
we wouldn't, but--
tonight
we will give ourselves away<hr>

<hr>There is nothing as free and passionate as your first time
Nothing as innocent
The nervous giggles
The panicked breathing
Touching someone's body
Just to learn every bump and crater 
on the surface of their warm skin
The rush of pain
The desperate moans.<hr>


<hr>She took the shelter from the pain, 
Under my broken skin as we kissed,
We kept ourselves warm with our breaths,
As she drank the poison from my lips.<hr>


Her angels weeped,i could hear them,
A sad song from the bottom of their soul,
For the part of her that was missing,
The part of heaven that made her whole.<hr>
