Yesterday was definitely a lazy Saturday. I spent all morning and most of the afternoon in bed, resting and napping in order to get over the last of this stupid little cold. It certainly helped and I think by Monday I should be 100%.
After the hectic work schedule during the spring and summer, it's nice that I'm getting weekends off now in order to rest, but it is less hours which is kind of annoying. At least I will still make enough to survive even though I will not be working as much since I got a raise last year ($12/hr). I'm also supposed to be getting another raise soon too, so that should really help me to weather the slow months financially.

Later in the afternoon, we went to a small town nearby to a random house that a family had their back patio set up as a little restaurant. Their specialty is enchiladas de Michoacan, a style of enchiladas I have never had before.
They were really different and not at all like how I normally think of enchiladas, but they were still really delicious! The top picture is with beef and the second picture is chicken. I wanted to take a little video of the lady cooking the enchiladas because she uses a special cooktop, but by the time I was finished eating and ready to she wasn't cooking any more. Maybe if I go again I can get some footage to share with the STEEM network.

I stopped by Aldi on my way to hang out at my friends place and found this funny kids book with these creepy eyes π
It was just a short stop to get some snacks and other things needed for cooking the tacos we were going to make and enjoy.
We made the meat tacos again. It's funny because I started making them for Keto and they are also gluten free, which was the reason my friends wife requested them as it was her birthday weekend. She also let us all know she is pregnant which was kind of exciting news!
