## Hello Dear Steemit Friends,

Today iam going to talk about a very interesting feature of steemit that many of us don't know,

We all know whenever we send or transfer sbd/steem then their is a memo box below in your send option and that memo is a public memo so that's mean anybody can read this and you cannot hide it or personalized it but that's not the truth you can send a private Memo to anyone and that memo is only visible to the person to whom you sent it,

## How Is This Possible ??

Well it's a simple trick you just have to follow a simple step to send a private Memo,

1. Just open your wallet and click on transfer money,

2. Now fill the receiver's name to whom you want to send money,

3. Now in the memo section just write '#' before you memo and then sou can use space or just write your desired memo right after # and click on send,like the image given below.

4 Now simply click send.

(I requested to one of my friend to send me this memo so i can show you all how it works.)


5 Now when the person to whom you send that memo is logged in then only that person is able to see that memo and no one except you to can read this private Memo.

So as you can see in the right side image iam not not logged in so it's only showing the amount that i received but when i logged in at the left image then you can clearly see that the memo is visible to me now.

So Friends this is kinda a cool trick to keep our wallet history clean and send message in memo to anyone privately.
