My Review of The Daniel Tosh Show (Tosh.O Star) at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas

<h1>The Build-Up</h1>

<p>There are a lot of reasons people move to the city of <strong>Las Vegas</strong>!&nbsp;</p>
<p>Whether it’s because of the housing this town offers or just the social aspect of all the major casinos, I am looking forward to being in the center of the entertainment capital of the world!</p>
<p>I feel like all the major shows will come to me since I live here and I’m doing my best to take advantage of it by seeing all the acts I have on <strong>my bucket list</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Well last week was a big event for that list as <strong>Daniel Tosh</strong> was coming to town!&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’ve been a fan of Tosh before he had his Tosh.O show on comedy central and I actually saw him in 2004 while I was in college.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I hate to sound like one of those guys who claims they were a fan of someone before they were famous but this was the case.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If I could gain access to my <strong>Myspace profile </strong><em>(yes I'm dating myself)</em> &nbsp;you would see a few posts of me telling my friends to watch his new show Tosh.O on comedy central because I feel like he was one of the funniest comedians on the market.</p>
<p>Since I’ve moved to Las Vegas, I think I’ve been to the strip three times and all those occasions were to see shows. I’m not shocked because I don’t think any locals really hit the strip up like you think.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There are plenty of casinos off the strip to play cards or to <strong>get your gamble on</strong> so going to the strip is just a hassle.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tosh was performing at the <strong>Mirage in the Terry Fator Theater</strong> so I was excited to check that out because I’ve heard nothing but good things.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Too bad I can’t completely agree with all the things I’ve heard.&nbsp;</p>
<p>While the theater itself was nice (as far as how the stage looked and the way the seats were set up), but the set up was horrible.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There were <strong>no bathrooms near</strong> the actual theater and you had to walk out and walk across the lobby.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The bar line was worse than the actual line to get into the theater, and I dropped $16 bucks on two waters.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It is what it is and I wasn’t really thrown off by that, but the fact that there were about 60 people in line and four people serving those in line seemed <strong>kind of dumb</strong> in my opinion.</p>
<h1>The TOSH.SHOW</h1>
<p><br></p>
<p>The name of the tour was “Tosh.Show” and it made sense the way the lineup was set up.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It started off with Daniel doing about 15 minutes of stand up, then he would bring out another guest and they would do their stand up.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Since I’m a huge fan of his show I thought it was cool because all his guests worked on the show and I recognized them all.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Not to say I’m a fan of all of them, in fact there was one guy I couldn’t stand and his stand up was just as bad as his bits on the show (looking at you Greg Hahn).&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nevertheless, there was another guy I can’t stand on the show (Todd Glass), but he was pretty funny doing standup.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That was a nice surprise!</p>

<p>If you were to ask my girlfriend what the highlight of the show was, she will tell you it was when Tosh brought his dogs onto the stage.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you watch his show you will notice his two dogs make appearances all the time and my girlfriend was super pumped to see them.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Daniel did a whole bit on being a dog owner, and it was really funny.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Again, I wasn’t used to the way the show was lined up but that’s not to say that it wasn’t good.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It basically went Tosh did 15 minutes of stand up, then he brought out a friend and that guy did about ten minutes then Tosh came back on and did another 15 minutes until he brought out another friend.&nbsp;</p>
<h1>My Biggest Shock</h1>
<p><br></p>
<p>The biggest shock of the night was the people in the crowd.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I really would have thought Tosh had an age range of 18-35, but I found that over half the crowd were people in their 50’s.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’m not sure if they were there by mistake or maybe they scored free tickets somehow, but I wasn’t expecting the older generation in the crowd the way there were represented.</p>

<p>Overall, it was a <strong>great experience</strong> once again, and I’m so happy I could attend.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I wasn’t a fan of the theater simply because of the way they had the bathrooms set up and the insane bar wait.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It’s kind of a downer because I really do want to see Terry Fator and will at some point, but I’m not looking forward to going back to the Mirage to see it.</p>

Great review!!!! Sounds like you had an awesome time at the show. I feel like I would have been a little disappointed it wasn't Daniel the entire stand-up, but either way seems like fun.

I've seen his show many times, not sure what to think of it. I do think that Las Vegas is a hotspot for new and exciting things though. If Tosh can brings some less perverted things on his show, then I will probably tell more people to watch it!
