# Hi Steemians!

It's been a while since I wrote something for the community- an initiative that will create a big impact for the **Steemit Inc.**, to the community and the people around. And as follows, I always share what can be earned with my writing not to the initiative nor to the people behind it but to the young and highly motivated individuals who will be participating, supporting, and helping in making this big event possible. So to point out directly, 100% of Liquid Rewards of this post will be converted to STEEM and distribute it to the participating steemians(volunteers) uniformly via Steem Power. This is to show some love and support. Let's make volunteering be rewarding thru Steemit and @sndbox' empowerment.

# Gift Giving

Christmas is fast approaching and the essence of giving is knocking on @steemph.cebu's door. That's why @steemph.cebu is eager to put up another big event to its community - [The Gift Giving](https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemph.cebu/steemph-cebu-to-conduct-gift-giving-day-unwrapping-christmas-presents-to-six-chosen-families-or-join-us-and-be-a-volunteer). It's a humanitarian effort aim to give happiness to the less fortunate families by providing them their basic needs like food and mlney assistance and especially making them feel that during this yultide season, everyone deserves to celebrate Christmas.

The core members of the community are putting so much effort for this humanitarian act. @jassennessaj made a [post](https://steemit.com/community/@jassennessaj/gift-giving-day-we-will-be-providing-christmas-and-daily-needs-a-steemit-funded-event-six-unfortunate-families-join-us-and-be-a) to add and secure the funds for the event and listing down the goods for distribution. Other members set up the venue, will cook the food for the volunteers and families, gather the less fortunate families and sharing the good news to other steemians/volunteers. On the other hand, this post is for the love and support to the core members(excluding me and @jassennessaj) and for the volunteers.

## Summary of Goods and the Total Cost

Six families will be the beneficiaries for the said event and will receive the following:

* **10 Kilos of Rice**
* **Noche Buena Package**
* **Cash Assistance**

Because the event will be held at 6 pm, @steemph.cebu will provide dinner for the benefeciaries and for the volunteers. The total cost inclusing the cost of goods and preparation cost will be:

* **$342**

*There's a possibility that @steemph.cebu will provide more goods for the families because of the price pump of SBDs.*
