Gold Passed $1,350

It had been many years since gold was priced over $1,350. It had tried to get above, but was smacked down numerous times. I think the last time it was higher than that was around 2013. After hitting the $1,357 area, suddenly the spot price started dropping. At one point it was *down* more than $3.50 for the day for a drop of > $17.00. That's a big price swing!

Where we go from here is anyone's guess, but it's likely that those who have incentive to keep gold pricing suppressed will continue to do so. Until then, enjoy the low prices!
