I will tell you an experience about this type of pots, when I was a child of approximately 10 years old, my mother was cooking beans in an express pot, a few minutes later we received a visit from a friend of hers and she decided to attend her in the garden of the house, after a while a big explosion was heard, my mother entered the house and observed that the whole kitchen was impregnated with beans, the lid of the pot destroyed one of the upper cabinets.

Fortunately, God saved us all.

When evaluating the cause, it was determined that the level of water and beans was very high inside the pot, which could obstruct the steam outlet from the pot.

That is why I recommend that when using pots of this type make sure to place it below the upper limit allowed.
