The law is like a spiderweb - the flies get caught and the hornets fly straight through.

Regulations, contrary to the belief commonly held by statists, do not constrain the big corporations that everyone sees as "greedy capitalist pigs," but instead make it impossible for small businesses, including family farms, to operate.  In fact, in many cases, the big businesses are the one who *champion* new laws in order to squeeze out competition from smaller players who, collectively, would otherwise control a majority of the market.  The advertised intent behind regulations may be to stop bad behaviour, but anyone who has worked in industry knows different.
