<center>Following the footsteps of many other witnesses, I updated to Hard Fork 16! In all honesty, I am super stoked for this hard fork! First of all, ever since the announcement of the Hard Fork, the price of Steem went up and I believe that today, Steem hit 0.22-0.23 cents (USD). Second of all, I love the fact that authors will now be getting more rewards (75% of inflation goes to authors and curators). Thirdly, after this Hard Fork, witnesses will receive 10% of the inflation, and runner-up witnesses will be paid 5 times the top 19 per block produced; I love this change for two specific reasons, the first reason, top 19 witnesses can agree with me, they were getting paid WAY too much! My second reason, this is also very good for people who are runner-up's because some runner-ups contribute more to the community than top 19! Lastly, I think the reduction of the power down period will draw in more investors but at the same time, I do believe quite a few people will get out of Steem.</center>

> its a development project for an alternate client to steemit.com on the same blockchain. i think the project will be releasing more inforomation at steemfest at which point there will probably be a post about the witness

> Later on, (at the time of SteemFest) I was listening on the SteemSpeak Discord channel where I believe I heard @picokernel talking about the platform, briefly. Later on that day, I found Busy's website and I knew right then and there, that I wanted to become a donor.

> I honestly believe that the Busy Platform could be 'the platform' that brings in people not familiar with blockchains and cryptocurrencies. While Steemit is more like a reddit, Busy is more like a FaceBook/Instagram/Twitter. All in all, Busy is a great platform and I advise you donate being that it is a non-profit organization!
