VALORANT had 12 characters in its official release, but new characters have been added along with content through seasons (Episodes and Acts). Episode 2 is currently ongoing and Riot Games has just announced that Act 2 has already begun and will bring with it the debut of Astra, the new agent.

As on other occasions, the start of a new Act means that new content is already available. Along with version 2.04, there will be a new Battle Pass that includes 50 levels that when unlocked will offer weapon skins, player cards and more rewards and a new line of weapon skins will be introduced, Supremo//2.0

Riot Games has already implemented several adjustments for VALORANT's competitive environment. Also, there will be improvements to the character dialogues, which will help people who do not use additional means of communication with their team members.
