<a href="https://musing.io/q/amadea/pkmc6r8ex">View this answer on Musing.io</a><br /><p>When I previously looked at this around 33% of Steem Power was actively used for voting, making around 25% of all Steem in existence (as there was quite a lot of liquid Steem).</p> <p>I would expect that the number has gone up quite a lot since the start of the year due to:</p> <ul> <li>Delegation of Steem Power to bidbots allowing passive users' votes to be utilised; and </li> <li>Delegation from Steemit central to dApps, putting this SP to good use.</li> </ul> <p>I found the previous level of SP used for voting surprisingly low, effectively gifting everyone a subsidy of 3x their vote value.</p> <p>However, nothing is lost.
