Currently based on a fixed transaction fee (0.1 lisk / transaction) LSK transactions will soon see an implementation of transaction fees called "dynamic" , that is to say, proportional to the transaction amounts.
A decentralized network certified by DPOS
Lisk is a decentralized network such as Bitcoin , Nxt or BitShares . It does not use " Proof of Work " as Bitcoin, or " Proof of Stake " as Nxt, but a simplified implementation of the original BitShares consensus algorithm called " Delegated Proof of Stake " (DPOS). This means that each LSK holder can vote for the mainchain delegates who will secure the network . There is a maximum of 101 active delegates, those who got the most votes on the entire network. These delegates can earn rewards when generating blocks, which means that there is a financial incentive to become an active delegate . All other delegates are waiting to be elected or, alternatively, to obtain a Lisk sidechain . Currently the forgers of the top 101 for about 10,000 Lisk / month (250,000 € during 13/01/2018), some of these Lisk is redistributed in the form of rewards to the voters and the rest returns to the forger to reward his work. Nevertheless, the number of Lisks created decreases over the years , and this number will therefore be revised downwards over time.

A framework for DApps
The ToolKit of Lisk is a framework allowing you to deploy your own sidechains and develop applications blockchain above (FAD). Everything is written in JavaScript . This means that you can develop independent social networks , of messaging systems , the games , the financial applications , the prediction markets , the exchanges , the storage platforms , the execution platforms contracts , the online shops , the IoT applicationsand more, only using Javascript . The Ambitious Project of Lisk
A framework to develop sidechains in Javascript
Unlike Ethereum, which uses Solidity , its own programming language, Lisk is based on Javascript . This means that to take control of the Lisk network only Javascript knowledge will be necessary. Lisk will be based on a principle of sidechains attached independently to the main mainchain . This means that if a sidechain encounters a bug, the mainchain and all other sidechains will not be impacted . Then, the sidechains will allow the creation of Dapp(decentralized applications), as well as the launch of ICO . Max Kordek in interviews said that Lisk would make the creation of token very simple (just via a few clicks).
The Framework of Lisk will allow you to create all types of distributed applications (computer, smartphone-like). The simplicity of adaptation and the Javascript language (the most commonly used language) will certainly make Lisk the bridge between Blockchain technology and the many web developers.
A Mainnet that should be fully operational for Q3 2018
In his interview for Coinsutra , Max Kordek hinted that the mainnet would be operational during the year 2018. With an alpha version of the ToolKit expected in the coming weeks, the ToolKit Lisk composed of 4 "tools" will be released operationally in Q3 / Q4 2018 , making the creation of the first dapp possible during this same period. Although the ToolKit Alpha should not be long in coming out, Max Kordek made it clear during the same interview that the first official dapp will come out around October 2018.
This was also announced at the Berlin Meetup that took place in November 2017 at the LiskHQ team's premises . Indeed during the announcement of the roadmap of the next months , the CEO of Lisk announced some key dates. Among which, the announcement of Lisk Core 1.0 , expected to be released before February 20, 2018, as well as the date of the final Toolkit that would be announced for Q3 / Q4 2018 during the release of the " blockchain application platform" (see picture below).

The DPOS system from lisk welded lisk voters with common interests (network security, rewards optimization). With a total of 144,000 followers on Twitter and 22,000 redditors , Lisk has a growing community. Developers, investors or simply curious, Lisk interests more and more people.
